Spring Wedding

I’m back home after a crazy week of traveling, parties, wedding, and events, and I’m so excited to give you a sneak peek into my sister Martha’s wedding. We spent the day getting ready at her house: hair, makeup, mimosas, happy tears, and plenty of smiles. As soon as we were ready, a limo picked us up and drove us to the ceremony at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Ascension in Oakland, CA. The Greek wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful and the church was breathtaking. After a few more happy tears and signing my name as her witness, we headed back to The Bohemian Club in San Francisco for the reception. The reception was a blast, complete with a photobooth and plenty of Colombian music (I even managed to hold back my tears as I gave my speech!), and we ended the night in the early morning hours dancing away at the Clift Hotel next door. I’m so happy for my sister and my new brother-in-law and can’t wait to share many more memories with them.

If you are ever in need of a phenomenal, friendly, and really fun photographer in the Bay Area, check out Ted van der Linden Photography! I’ve only managed to see a small handful of photos so far and I’m so excited to see how he captured the entire day and night.

Gorgeous tulips I bought my sister the morning of her wedding.

My niece, Bride’s daughter, drew this in preparation of the big day. She even included her older brother, puppy, and kitty!

We encountered some traffic after the ceremony as we were heading back into San Francisco. How amazing is this shot?

    1. Thanks, Natalie! :) The yellow dress is a dream come true! Yes, my sister didn’t want to have bridesmaids so we got to pick our own dresses–which I loved!
